ZETAn TECHNOLOGY consists of a semiconductor coating, in either an
inorganic ceramic based or an organic conductive polymer
formulation, and a patented Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Both
coating formulations are optimized for electronic
properties.
Zetan
Inorganic Semiconductor Coating
is an environmentally
friendly, durable, ceramic based coating. It is
non-carcinogenic, contains no harmful VOCs, is
non-polluting in both application and use. When used in-system with a
Zetan ECU,
the ceramic based coating will last for the useful
design life of the object being protected from either
corrosion or hard marine fouling.
Zetan
Organic Conductive Polymer Semiconductor Coating
offers
increased system flexibility, including preventing corrosion
of non-ferrous conductive materials such as
aluminum. This coating formulation also permits
tuning of the system electronic circuit, further
expanding the potential for development of additional
uses and applications for
Zetan.
Zetan
Electronic Control Unit,
with a power requirement of less than 1mA, activates and
controls the semiconductors in the coatings. ECUs
can be configured for any convenient power source,
including solar. With only one ECU required for each
electrically continuous protected surface, a single unit
can potentially protect large structures such as ships,
pipelines, or bridges. An optional Zetan ECU
computer interface module will allow remote monitoring
and active optimization of unit operation in both
corrosion and hard marine fouling prevention applications.

Zetan
ECUs are available in standard, weatherproof, and
explosion proof cabinets and are UL, CE and GOST R
approved, ISO 9002 Certified, and have ABS Class
Certification. ECUs are also available for
specific applications such as pipelines.
